Preparations for Hosting of the 30-th Diocese Assembly
As many of you may well know, the 30-th Assembly of the American-Canadian Diocese of the Macedonian Orthodox Church is scheduled for September 2004 in Los Angeles. As a host church, we have been conducting numerous preparations for this forthcoming and exciting event. Among the other things, the place for holding of the events is already determined; it would be at the Long Beach Hilton hotel (on the picture). It is in a close proximity of our church, the ocean, Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm and all of the excitement of Los Angeles and Hollywood. Also, the sports games for this event are going to be held in the surrounding Anaheim area. Please check our web site frequently for latest updates for the preparations for this event.

Phoenix-Sobir

The Celebration in Phoenix - Arizona
On November 22 and 23-th, the Macedonian church communities of Southern California and Phoenix, Arizona jointly have observed the holy day Synaxis of St. Archangel Michael. For that purpose, a travel from Los Angeles to Phoenix was organized. The observance took place in Phoenix, and included blessing of the newly founded church by father Gorgi Pacemski, meeting of the people from both community, dinner and dancing. This was every important event for the western expansion of the American-Canadian diocese of Macedonian Orthodox Church and included people from other orthodox denominations, well wishers and visitors. The church committee from the Macedonian Orthodox Church St Archangel Michael in Phoenix did an excelant job in organizing this beautiful event.
